On the back streets of Montmartre...

...a shop window of color as I was winding my way to the fabric markets.

Blackmail Boutique & Atelier is a working design studio. We create and produce all of our clothing here on the premises. Housed in the oldest building on South Congress, we are a monochromatic clothing and lifestyle boutique specializing in all things black. Without the distraction of too much color; the texture, the form, and the line take precedence.

Independently owned and operated since 1997, Blackmail is a tiny jewel that is recreated and reworked everyday. We value and find beauty in imperfection, old stuff, things handmade, independently owned businesses, kids and good cocktails.
