These jeans were made of a durable blend of cotton and nylon and featured reinforced knees. Another popular brand of boys jeans at the time, also made in El Paso, TX was the Billy The Kid brand manufactured by Hortex Inc. I wore both as a kid growing up in the 1950s. Child actors in popular television series also wore these brands. These include Jerry Mathers in "Leave It To Beaver" and Jon Provost in "Lassie."
